Harvest Christian Fellowship Announces New Location on Maui, HI.
Church pastored by Greg Laurie will merge with Ricky Ryan’s Kumulani Chapel in Lahaina.
Riverside, Calif., June 12, 2016—Two well-established churches, more than 2,500 miles apart, will be joined together in the coming days, resulting in “Harvest Kumulani,” the newest campus in the Harvest family.
The merger was initiated by Kumulani’s senior pastor, Ricky Ryan, who will remain as campus pastor with Jim Felechner functioning as campus administrative pastor under the leadership of Harvest.
According to Ryan, Kumulani Chapel—founded over thirty years ago—shares a common background with Harvest Christian Fellowship, which is pastored by Greg Laurie. Ryan states, “This makes so much sense to us because we hold the same core values and ministry philosophy. Pastor Greg has been with us from the beginning, and through every season of our church’s history. I love and respect him as a friend, and view him as my pastor.” Kumulani currently has a congregation of approximately 700 people, which was informed of the changes last Sunday.
Both church entities wish to protect the island culture and “small church” atmosphere of the Hawaiian congregation. “In California, we have as much to gain in learning from their operations as they have in accessing the resources a big church has to offer,” says Paul Eaton, administrative pastor for Harvest. Harvest Kumulani will receive a live video stream of Laurie’s message every Sunday and incorporate other Harvest ministries, such as the Valor and Virtue Bible studies for men and women.
Harvest Christian Fellowship currently has church campuses in Riverside and Irvine, California, with satellite locations streaming Sunday services in the California cities of Eastvale, South Corona, and the Woodcrest area of Riverside. The church also has a Spanish-speaking location in Riverside, Cosecha Companerismo Cristiano. The Maui campus will be its first outside of California.
Greg Laurie is the senior pastor at Harvest Christian Fellowship, one of the largest churches in the U.S. Laurie is also the founder and evangelist for Harvest Crusades and Harvest America, evangelistic outreach events that have drawn some 5.6 million people to stadiums and arenas around the world since 1990.
Harvest Crusades with Greg Laurie Announces 2016 Events in Southern California & Georgia
RIVERSIDE, Calif., May 24, 2016—Marking 27 years of large-scale evangelistic outreach that has touched the lives of people across the country and around the world, Harvest Crusades with Greg Laurie has announced plans to hold events in Southern California and Atlanta, Georgia in 2016. The 2016 SoCal Harvest will return to Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Aug. 26 – 28, while the first-ever Harvest Georgia 2016 will take place at Infinite Energy Arena (Duluth), Sept. 23 – 25.
These events come on the heels of Harvest’s largest outreach to date—a one-night event on March 6 called Harvest America that drew an overflow crowd of 82,000 people to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and attracted another 180,000 participants to remote venues in all 50 states and 123 countries. In addition, another 95,000 viewers participated in the live Harvest America webcast.
Featuring a nightly message of hope from Southern California pastor and evangelist Greg Laurie and music from top-name Christian artists, each Harvest outreach is hosted through the efforts of hundreds of local churches and admission is free of charge. Since 1990, the Harvest with Greg Laurie events have been attended by more than 7 million people worldwide, both in-person at stadium and arena events and via live Internet broadcasts.
- 2016 SoCal Harvest, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Aug. 26 – 28:
The SoCal Harvest, which will be held in Orange County for the 27th consecutive year, will feature music from tobyMac, Skillet, for King & Country, Hollyn, Phil Wickham, KB and other guests. Additional details about the 2016 SoCal Harvest are available at SoCal.Harvest.org.
- Harvest Georgia 2016, Infinite Energy Arena (Duluth), Sept. 23 – 25:
The first-ever Harvest Georgia will feature music from Chris Tomlin, Lecrae, THIRD DAY and Phil Wickham. Details about upcoming informational meetings are available at Georgia.Harvest.org.
The Harvest with Greg Laurie events are known for relating to audiences through contemporary means like cutting edge music, live Internet webcasts, and social media updates, but the nightly message presented by Laurie is timeless. Called the “evangelist of the future” by Billy Graham, Laurie draws on Scripture, flavored with personal and cultural examples, to describe the relevance of faith in today’s world. Laurie’s talks encompass topics that appeal to people of any age and answer questions like: Why am I here? Is God real? What happens when I die?
Greg Laurie serves as senior pastor of one of the largest churches in the U.S., Harvest Christian Fellowship, which has campuses in Riverside and Irvine, Calif. Laurie also serves on the board of directors for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
It’s Official: Harvest America Deemed Largest One-Day Live Evangelistic Event Ever for U.S. Audiences
DALLAS, March 10, 2016 – Now that many of the 7,200 remote host locations participating in Harvest America have reported in, organizers are praising God for not just the record attendance figures, but the number of lives changed through the presentation of the Gospel message by evangelist Greg Laurie.
In addition to the 82,000 individuals who packed to overflow AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, more than 180,000 attendees participated in one of the Harvest America remote venues in all 50 states and 123 countries. While 6,500 made a faith commitment at the venue, another 18,000 responded simultaneously in the host locations.
The trackable online audience was also impressive. More than 95,000 viewed the webcast at harvestamerica.com, with more than 1,000 of those indicating they also made a faith commitment. This brings the cumulative participation for Harvest America to over 357,000, and total faith commitments to Christ at more than 25,500.
“We only celebrate these statistics because they represent the personal lives changed by the transformative Gospel message,” Laurie said. “We pray that each and every one of these individuals gets connected with a local church and begins growing in their faith, sharing what has happened to them with others in their circles of influence. That is our prayer for the ultimate impact of this event, because that is how true revival begins.”
Crusade organizers are working now to ensure each of these “inquirers” receives follow- up. Volunteers from local churches in the DFW Metroplex, and at each of the remote host locations, are reaching out to those who made decisions to connect them with a church and to encourage them in Bible study, in prayer and in sharing their newfound faith. Follow-up workers will be an ongoing resource to individuals who made a faith decision during Harvest America until each is actively involved with a church local to them.
Not trackable, but perhaps of even greater importance, is the number of individuals reached through the radio and television broadcasts of the event. More than 600 radio stations carried the audio while the full event was broadcast live on JUCE TV programming on SkyAngel channel 264 on Dish Network. It was also televised later that evening on Trinity Broadcasting Network’s international platform.
About Harvest Crusades
Harvest Crusades first began hosting large evangelistic events in Orange County, California, in 1990. Since then, including this most recent outreach, nearly 5.6 million individuals have attended, with more than 474,000 having made faith decisions. In addition, Harvest Crusades have been webcast online since 1997, and have seen 1.8 million individuals tune in via live stream.
Besides conducting evangelistic outreaches, Harvest Ministries produces “A New Beginning,” an international radio program featuring messages by Laurie. In addition, television specials featuring past Harvest Ministries events air internationally on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), and a weekly television program greglaurie.tv is available online at harvest.org, and is carried on both TBN and the Church Channel, as well as on ROKU and the Harvest app.
Laurie serves as senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship, with campuses in Riverside and Irvine, California, which oversees Harvest Ministries. The ministry exists for the sole purpose of presenting the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible, and to help believers mature in their faith. Thousands Flock to First Christian Event ever Held at AT&T Stadium
DALLAS, March 7, 2016 – It was a full house and overflowing at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Sunday as Pastor Greg Laurie brought a message of hope for 82,000 individuals gathered locally as well as hundreds of thousands more across the nation, tuning in via radio, television, Internet stream or remote broadcast at over 7,200 host locations in 123 countries. More than 750 local churches cooperated to bring Harvest America to Texas.
At a time when the nation is searching and anxious, Laurie addressed the loneliness and emptiness that exists in every heart, encouraging audiences that true peace and fulfillment can only be found in Christ.
“Not a woman, not a man, not a drug, not an experience, not a possession will fill the emptiness inside you,” Laurie said.
Referencing research on the top three late-night Internet searches – porn, loneliness and suicide – he said, “You don’t need to go to Google for your answers; God has an answer for your loneliness and it is Jesus Christ his son.
“Your religious beliefs are not enough, either; you’re not good enough on your own,” Laurie continued. “Jesus alone is uniquely qualified to bridge the gap between a holy God and sinful humanity.”
More than 6,000 of those gathered responded to the evangelist’s invitation to make a faith commitment. Harvest America organizers hope this event will spark a revival that will spread across the nation, as many attended from out of state, and with remote venues participating from all 50 states.
In a first for Harvest America, a 2,500-voice choir composed of local church members performed with artists Chris Tomlin and MercyMe, helping to lead the crowd in worship. They followed the stellar musical line-up of Switchfoot and Lecrae, providing a variety of musical styles for everyone in attendance.
Another 3,400 volunteer counselors, 1,500 ushers and 350 individuals manning the prayer room made this the largest volunteer effort ever for Harvest Crusades, which has been hosting such events since 1990. More than 5.3 million individuals have attended, with over 450,000 having made a faith decision. In addition, Harvest Crusades have been webcast online since 1997, and have seen 1.7 million individuals tune in via live stream. Another 90,000 viewed the most recent webcast live online Sunday evening.
Local pastors providing leadership for the effort included Dr. Jack Graham of Prestonwood Baptist Church, Dr. Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Dallas, Dr. Tony Evans of Fellowship Bible Church, Matt Chandler of The Village and Dr. Robert Morris of Gateway. All agreed on the potential impact of the event.
“I am hoping this is a catalyst – not just in the DFW Metroplex, but for churches across the country to rally in a renewed commitment to evangelism,” Graham said.
Jeffress echoed the sentiment, remarking that “it was a tremendous outpouring of the Holy Spirit of God; I believe every Christian and church will be re-energized in sharing the Gospel of Christ with as many people as possible.”

Harvest America to be Broadcast on DISH Network, Live from AT&T Stadium March 6
Carried by JUCE TV on SkyAngel on DISH Network, AT&T U-Verse
DALLAS, Feb. 9, 2016 – As local organizers are preparing to host the largest Christian event to be held at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, viewers from around the country will now have the chance to tune in live via television courtesy of JUCE TV, which is providing the live program to SkyAngel’s KTV, Channel 264 on DISH Network or Channel 570 on AT&T U-Verse.
“We are excited about the potential to reach new and larger audiences with this life-changing event, thanks to our partnership with JUCE TV,” said Pastor John Collins, executive director of Harvest America. “It will now be easier than ever for families across the nation to participate in their own living rooms, should their local church not be one of the thousands of venues registered to participate in Harvest America remotely.”
More and more churches are signing up daily to host the live event, creating their own local Harvest America for individuals in their communities to attend. With JUCE TV’s teen and young adult reach, many more youth groups may register separately, creating events to which their members can invite friends who are searching and struggling, in need of hope.
“JUCE TV is honored to partner with Greg Laurie and Harvest America to help amplify the life-affirming message that Greg and his team will present March 6th at AT&T Stadium in Dallas,” said JUCE TV network manager Mark McCallie. “I believe countless thousands of young people will tune in and view the event through JUCE TV – and find the new life and direction they’ve been searching for.”
With a largely faith-based teen and young adult audience, JUCE TV is a perfect fit for the bands performing at Harvest America: Chris Tomlin, Lecrae, Switchfoot and Mercy Me. These will precede a relevant message by Greg Laurie on finding purpose and meaning in life – a topic of significance for young people especially. In addition to the satellite and internet carriers, JUCE TV is available in hundreds of cities across the U.S. via cable and broadcast. Altogether, more than 425 churches in north Texas are already participating in Harvest America, hoping to see it make a significant impact in their congregations and communities. As the nation has faced many fears and struggles, and especially in a divisive election year, local and national organizers are grateful for the opportunity Harvest America provides to bring millions of individuals together on One Day as One Church with One Message – a consistent theme of Harvest America events.
